Set within the North York Moors National Park, in a sheltered wooded valley close to the magnificent ruins of Rievaulx Abbey, near Helmsley. These spacious recently luxury converted cottages stand in a landscaped courtyard by our farmhouse, are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Visitors can enjoy beautifully kept grounds, with garden, lake and river frontage. Superb views and walking from the doorstep. The historic sea port of Whitby, with its ancient abbey overlooking the colourful harbour and miles of sandy beaches. Coastal villages of Staithes, Runswick Bay and Sandsend. Racing at Thirsk, Wetherby and York. Shop and inn nearby, lots of excellent eating places locally.

The Smithy sleeps 4 and has one double & one twin bedroom on the ground floor. Features an inglenook fireplace and domed window from dining area.

Babysitting by arrangement. Natural spring water. Dogs permitted by arrangement in some cottages only (extra charge). Activity area. Ample parking, Guests may enjoy free fishing.

Breakfast is available by arrangement to holiday cottage residents.
